Call Courier (Pvt.) Ltd., a prominent nationwide provider of Cash on Delivery (COD) services, is seeking a Finance Cashier to join its team in the Karachi Division. The company delivers online purchases to over 400 destinations across Pakistan within 24 to 48 hours, supported by advanced software, mobile applications, and APIs that facilitate online booking, real-time shipment tracking, and seamless integration with e-commerce partners. The Finance Cashier will play a vital role in managing daily cash transactions related to COD collections and reimbursements, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily cash transactions including receiving, recording, and reconciling COD payments and bank deposits.
- Prepare and maintain daily cash reports and ensure accurate entry of financial data into company systems.
- Verify customer and client accounts, coordinating with operations and customer support teams to resolve any payment discrepancies.
- Maintain secure handling and storage of cash and related financial documents to safeguard company assets.
- Assist in month-end closing activities and support internal audit processes to ensure financial accuracy.
- Adhere strictly to company policies and regulatory requirements to maintain compliance and integrity in financial operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong cash-handling skills with basic accounting knowledge, including cash reconciliation, ledger posting, and bank deposit procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with financial software for accurate data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent numerical aptitude and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with finance, operations, and customer support teams.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to manage high transaction volumes and meet daily deadlines.
- Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and commitment to confidentiality and adherence to company financial policies.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in cashier, accounts, or COD-related roles will be considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of courier or logistics industry processes, including familiarity with COD systems and reimbursement cycles, is beneficial.
