We are seeking a detail-oriented finance professional with manufacturing experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting and financial tasks, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting internal departments with accurate financial data. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines. The position is based on-site and offers a competitive monthly salary.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements to provide accurate financial reporting.
- File and prepare sales tax returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage withholding tax processes, including filing and ensuring compliance.
- Perform bank reconciliations and oversee ledger management to maintain accurate records.
- Process payroll, including calculation and deduction of income tax and statutory contributions such as EOBI and SESSI.
- Review and verify financial reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain detailed records for yield analysis and cost evaluations to support manufacturing operations.
- Assist with SECP filings and ensure all compliance documentation is up to date.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather financial data and provide audit support as needed.
- Manage goods receipt notes (GRN), purchase invoices, and purchase orders (P.O.) efficiently.
- Handle sales tax invoices and integrate with FBR systems for accurate reporting.
- Create PSID and CPR documents accurately to support financial transactions.
- Reconcile customer and vendor ledgers regularly to ensure balanced accounts.
- Process inventory-related activities, including generating reports and conducting stocktaking.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of taxation, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software, with Odoo or ERP systems preferred.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills to interpret financial data and collaborate with teams.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines consistently.
Compensation and Work Environment
The position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs60,000 to Rs80,000. This is an in-person role requiring the candidate to work onsite, ensuring close coordination with various departments and hands-on management of financial operations.
