Finance Executive

This full-time, on-site position based in Karachi is for a Finance Executive responsible for supporting the financial operations of the organization. The role involves preparing financial statements, managing financial reporting to both management and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with accounting systems, standards, and regulatory requirements. The Finance Executive will maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts, handle day-to-day accounting activities including receivables and payables, and ensure adherence to taxation and statutory regulations. Additionally, the role includes assisting with external audits to ensure accuracy and transparency in financial documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of all financial statements.
- Provide accurate financial reporting to management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with accounting systems, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts entries.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations such as receivables and payables.
- Ensure taxation and regulatory compliance is consistently met.
- Support external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and information.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven working experience as an Accounts or Finance Executive.
- Hands-on experience working with ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of accounting concepts.
- Understanding of taxation, GST, and statutory laws and regulations.
- High proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel, including advanced formulas and reporting.
- At least 2 years of experience in accounts and finance roles.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Excel formulas and reporting.
- At least 1 year of experience related to tax and GST compliance.
