Finance Lead

We are seeking a dynamic Finance Lead to head the Global Business Services (GBS) centre in Lahore for a multinational group. This role offers a unique opportunity to move beyond routine reporting and take a strategic leadership position, directly influencing key business decisions. Reporting to the Group CEO and Group CFO, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence and growth across multiple countries within the group.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team comprising Assistant Managers and Finance Executives to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Country Managers worldwide, facilitating smooth communication and financial coordination.
- Oversee the Month-End Close process for several group companies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead the Monthly Board Meeting by preparing and presenting financial reports directly to the Board of Directors.
- Drive budgeting, variance analysis, forecasting, and trend analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Manage complex trading transactions including Letters of Credit (LCs), customs procedures, Incoterms, and landed cost calculations.

Required Qualifications:
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CMA.
- 7 to 10 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing finance teams.
- Proven experience working within a multinational group, preferably with exposure to import/export trading operations.
- Strong expertise in financial close processes, consolidation, budgeting, and proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel functions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
