This is a remote contract opportunity for a Finance Lead based in Lahore, Pakistan, working primarily during the morning shift. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain compliance calendars to ensure timely adherence to regulatory requirements across various tax jurisdictions.
- Coordinate effectively with external accountants to facilitate accurate and timely financial reporting and audits.
- Oversee accounting systems, ensuring data integrity and the generation of comprehensive financial reports.
- Maintain and develop banking relationships to support the company’s financial operations and cash flow management.
- Supervise and provide guidance to a direct report, fostering a productive and accountable team environment.
- Lead the process of asset disposals and manage the wind-down of entities as required, ensuring all financial and legal obligations are met.
Required Qualifications
- Between 5 to 12 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, demonstrating progressive responsibility.
- Proven leadership experience in finance within small company environments.
- Exposure to multi-jurisdictional financial and tax compliance requirements.
- Strong written English communication skills, essential for reporting and coordination with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in AI tools and technology to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
