Our client, Sutlej Developments Private Limited, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager specializing in Financial Planning and Analysis based in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial management. This role involves leading a team of five finance professionals to develop and maintain financial plans, monitor cash flows, and prepare detailed financial reports. The Finance Manager will play a critical role in establishing strong financial controls and working closely with senior management to provide strategic financial insights, assess risks, and identify growth opportunities. The position requires proficiency in implementing advanced financial models, managing ERP and reporting systems, and collaborating with operations and procurement teams to improve cost efficiency. Experience in sectors such as quick service restaurants, FMCG, or organized retail is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain annual budgets, monthly financial plans, and rolling forecasts aligned with strategic business objectives.
- Forecast revenues, operating expenses, profitability, and working capital to ensure effective financial planning.
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly financial performance reports to assist management in monitoring business health.
- Monitor cash flow and anticipate funding requirements to maintain financial stability.
- Implement and enforce financial controls, establish expenditure approval procedures, and promote financial discipline across the organization.
- Analyze product pricing, food costs, gross margins, and outlet profitability to identify areas for financial improvement.
- Compare actual financial results against budgets, investigate variances, and provide detailed explanations with actionable recommendations.
- Create and update financial models for break-even analysis, investment appraisals, and feasibility studies for new outlets.
- Design and maintain management dashboards and key financial performance indicators to enhance visibility into financial operations.
- Oversee accounting processes including point-of-sale reconciliation, inventory controls, supplier payments, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate with operations, procurement, and management teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Support the implementation and integration of ERP systems, point-of-sale systems, and financial reporting tools to improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency.
- Advise senior management on financial risks, opportunities for cost optimization, and strategies for sustainable growth.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of five finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Establish financial systems and processes that support the company’s scaling and expansion goals.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards while promoting best practices in financial planning and analysis.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of five years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial management.
- Proven leadership experience managing a finance team.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.
- Solid understanding of financial controls, cash flow management, and cost efficiency measures.
- Experience working in quick service restaurants, FMCG, organized retail, or related industries is preferred.
