iCAUR Signature is seeking an experienced and responsible Finance Manager to lead its finance and accounting functions in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with over five years of relevant experience in finance and accounting. This role requires a strong understanding of Pakistan’s taxation system, including FBR regulations, SECP compliance, and other statutory requirements. The Finance Manager will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective financial controls to support the company’s growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Finance & Reporting:
- Perform daily financial closing activities.
- Prepare and submit daily finance and management reports.
- Monitor daily sales, receipts, payments, expenses, and outstanding balances.
- Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and supported.
Accounting & Reconciliation:
- Conduct bank, cash, customer, and vendor reconciliations.
- Reconcile sales, receivables, payables, and inventory-related accounts.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts.
- Review journals, ledgers, and supporting documentation.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
Tax & Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure timely submission of FBR returns and statements.
- Manage Sales Tax compliance and filing of returns.
- Handle withholding tax calculations, deductions, and filings.
- Manage SECP filings and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities as needed.
Management Reporting:
- Prepare monthly management accounts.
- Develop cash-flow statements, profit & loss accounts, balance sheets, and other financial reports.
- Present the company’s financial position, performance, and key financial matters to the Board.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.
- Monitor budgets, expenses, and variances.
Internal Controls:
- Establish and maintain strong financial controls.
- Ensure proper approval processes for payments and expenses.
- Monitor cash handling and banking procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support internal and external audits.
Required Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
- Strong knowledge of Pakistan taxation laws, FBR, SECP, and regulatory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with Sales Tax returns, FBR income tax returns, SECP filings, withholding tax, and other applicable tax matters.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero and/or QuickBooks.
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial controls.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills
- Experience in automotive or dealership finance will be considered an advantage.
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented with strong financial controls and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and meet deadlines with accuracy.
- Strong communication skills to clearly present financial information to senior management and the Board.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools.
- Capability to build and manage a professional finance function within the organization.
