Finance Manager

ABCO Trading is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Manager to lead its financial reporting and accounting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate financial statements, managing reconciliations, and overseeing month-end and year-end closing processes. This role requires close coordination with both internal teams and external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The Finance Manager will also supervise finance teams based in Saudi Arabia and maintain consistency in financial records across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS and relevant accounting standards.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including general ledger oversight and account reconciliations.
- Develop management reports and conduct financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.
- Maintain fixed asset registers, asset management records, and depreciation schedules.
- Coordinate with external auditors by providing necessary financial data, supporting documentation, reconciliations, and audit reports.
- Ensure adherence to accounting manuals, internal controls, company financial policies, and reporting procedures.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, expenses, and overall financial performance to support operational efficiency.
- Lead and supervise finance and accounts teams located in Saudi Arabia, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and performance management to team members to enhance productivity and professional growth.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency of financial records between Saudi operations and the Islamabad office.
- Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes, financial controls, and reporting efficiency.

Required Qualifications:
- ACCA or CA qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience in accounting, finance, financial reporting, or auditing.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, accounting standards, and audit procedures.
- Proven experience in preparing financial statements, performing reconciliations, managing month-end closing, and generating management reports.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams, coordinate audits, and meet strict reporting deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software, and ERP systems.
