The Finance Manager role is a full-time, on-site position located at APAG’s facility in the Korangi Industrial Area. This role is pivotal in managing the company’s financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting to support strategic decision-making. The Finance Manager will oversee accounting operations, review financial statements, ensure accurate ledger entries, and monitor cash flow to maintain financial health.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning activities such as budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to provide actionable insights for management.
- Manage accounting functions, including ledger maintenance, financial statement review, and cash flow monitoring.
- Conduct cost analysis and control inventory and production-related financial activities to optimize operational efficiency.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and internal controls.
- Prepare detailed management reports and financial summaries for senior leadership.
- Provide guidance and supervision to finance staff, fostering a culture of accuracy, transparency, and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- Strong expertise in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
- Experience with cost accounting, variance analysis, and inventory/production cost control.
- Knowledge of audit coordination, internal controls, and compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
- Advanced skills in Excel and financial software, coupled with strong data analysis capabilities.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Several years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably within manufacturing, FMCG, or related industries.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site environment.
- High integrity, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
