We are looking for an experienced Finance Transformation Supervisor with a focus on Revenue Accounting and Data Conversion to join our Finance Transformation team in Lahore. This full-time role involves partnering closely with the Senior Manager of Finance Transformation to lead strategic initiatives, including a major enterprise Yardi-to-Oracle ERP conversion. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day project activities related to revenue recognition, billing, accounts receivable, testing, cutover, and post-go-live support. The role also requires overseeing third-party consultants, coordinating cross-functional deliverables, and ensuring seamless continuity across complex financial workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
- Finance Transformation & Project Leadership: Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple concurrent conversion workstreams. Track priorities, dependencies, and risks to ensure timely delivery of commitments.
- Revenue Accounting & Process Design: Collaborate with leadership to document current and future-state accounting processes. Evaluate impacts on revenue recognition, customer billing, cash application, and subledger-to-GL reporting.
- Data Conversion & Reconciliations: Manage pre- and post-conversion data validation between legacy Yardi and target Oracle systems. Review customer master data, accounts receivable balances, conversion clearing entries, and adjustment entries to ensure complete and audit-ready documentation.
- Testing, Cutover & Go-Live Support: Develop and execute user acceptance test (UAT) scripts across Accounting, Billing, and AR teams. Lead cutover accounting procedures, monitor defect resolution, and provide hyper care support after deployment.
- Consultant & Team Oversight: Oversee daily deliverables from external consultants, reviewing conversion workpapers, reconciliation packages, and accounting analyses for accuracy before management approval.
- Governance, Risk & Compliance: Maintain project action logs, KPI reports, and risk registers. Ensure compliance with SOX controls, segregation of duties, and audit requirements while coordinating with internal and external audit teams.
- Workstream Continuity: Act as a core operational backup for the Senior Manager, sustaining momentum on transformation decisions, executive updates, and cross-functional communications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management Information Systems (MIS).
- Minimum of 5 years’ combined experience in technical revenue accounting, finance transformation, or financial systems consulting.
- Hands-on experience with Yardi and Oracle Cloud/ERP conversions or implementations is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in subledger accounting and complex financial reconciliations.
- Deep understanding of revenue recognition principles, customer invoicing, and accounts receivable subledgers.
- Proven experience in UAT testing execution, cutover planning, and data migration validation.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise external consultant teams and coordinate multidisciplinary workstreams including IT, FP&A, Tax, and Corporate Accounting.
- Excellent project management, risk mitigation, and audit-trail documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
