Contour Software, a rapidly growing subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc., is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its Controllership & Finance Operations team. With over 2,000 employees across Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, Contour supports global divisions spanning multiple time zones. This role plays a crucial part in managing end-to-end finance processes for the Constellation Kidney Group (CKG), focusing on billing, revenue analysis, month-end close activities, reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit support. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced offshore environment while collaborating effectively with international teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead billing governance by validating data feeds, ensuring compliance with contract terms, renewal schedules, discount approvals, deferred revenue rules, and cutoff adherence.
- Prepare monthly revenue trending reports, including month-over-month analysis, year-over-year variance, renewal uplift, churn impact, foreign exchange normalization, and customer-level insights.
- Develop percentage-of-completion (POC) models covering cost-to-complete updates, revenue recognition calculations, backlog tracking, and margin analysis.
- Manage intercompany accounting activities such as cross-charge analysis, mismatch resolution, currency alignment, and settlement coordination.
- Prepare consolidated balance sheet packs, including revenue deferrals roll forward, accounts receivable aging with risk commentary, accrued liabilities, work-in-progress, and detailed reconciliations.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain accurate cash flow records.
- Ensure accuracy of general ledger postings through periodic data integrity reviews and corrective actions.
- Coordinate external and internal audits end-to-end, including planning, sampling, evidence preparation and delivery, managing auditor queries, ensuring remediation actions, and preparing management responses for audit findings.
Required Qualifications
- ACCA qualification.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
