Giant Group is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our expanding team at our Lahore office. This permanent role involves working closely with both local and UK finance teams, with working hours from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Monday to Friday, to ensure overlap with our UK colleagues. As a hands-on FP&A professional, you will be responsible for building budgets and forecasts, conducting cost and variance analyses, and translating complex financial data into clear dashboards and presentations for senior leadership. You will also review the work of Financial Associates and contribute to automating reporting processes, playing a key role in delivering timely and accurate financial insights that support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain Excel-based budgets, forecasts, and scenario models, preparing monthly cost and budget-versus-actual variance analyses with clear commentary on key drivers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, organize, and analyze financial data from multiple sources, contributing to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning; monitor KPIs and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses to support business initiatives and leadership requests.
- Review and ensure accuracy and consistency in the work produced by Financial Associates.
- Drive automation of manual reporting processes using tools such as SQL and AI-assisted analysis.
- Support preparation of presentations for senior leadership, board meetings, and other stakeholders, ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies, and financial reporting standards.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from a reputable university.
- Between 6 months to 3 years of experience in FP&A or a corporate finance department.
- Advanced Excel skills, including XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, pivot tables, and building structured, error-checked financial models.
- Proven experience in building budgets or forecasts and preparing cost/budget variance analyses.
- Strong ability to explain financial information clearly and effectively to non-finance stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
- Proficient PowerPoint skills for creating leadership-ready presentations.
- Excellent English communication skills with strong attention to detail and respect for financial controls and accuracy.
- Based in Lahore and comfortable working on-site from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm PKT.
