Financial Analyst

Giant Group is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our expanding finance team at our Lahore office located in Askari Corporate Tower, Main Boulevard, Gulberg III. This permanent role offers a market-competitive salary and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm PKT. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering timely and accurate financial insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization.

As a Financial Analyst, you will act as a key liaison between Financial Associates and senior finance team members. Your responsibilities will include transforming complex financial data into clear, actionable analysis that informs leadership decisions. You will support the Senior Financial Analyst and broader finance team in areas such as financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Additionally, you will prepare reports and executive presentations, collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate data, and identify trends and risks. You will also contribute to improving reporting processes, participate in ad hoc analytical projects, and mentor junior associates while ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial policies. Your efforts will help maintain a finance function that provides accurate, well-governed insights to drive Giant Group’s vision forward.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Senior Financial Analyst in developing financial models, forecasts, and variance analyses to support strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with various departments to collect, organize, and analyze financial data, contributing to monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including dashboards and executive summaries.
- Maintain and enhance financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning; monitor KPIs and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support business projects and leadership requests; review Financial Associates’ work for accuracy and consistency.
- Support automation and continuous improvement of reporting tools and processes.
- Prepare presentations for senior leadership, board meetings, and other stakeholders while ensuring adherence to internal controls, policies, and financial reporting standards.

Required Qualifications

- Professional credentials such as CA, CPA, CFA, ACCA, or equivalent are preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or corporate finance within a reputable organization.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working with diverse and global teams is advantageous.
