Financial Controller

Zameen.com is seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to lead and manage all financial operations, ensuring strong financial controls, strategic planning, and adherence to regulatory standards. This role is critical in driving budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis to support the company’s business goals. The Financial Controller will also focus on optimizing financial performance, controlling costs, managing risks, and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial data and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting specifically for construction projects.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with local regulations.
- Monitor overall financial performance, cash flows, and project profitability to support decision-making.
- Conduct variance analysis and cost control measures while providing strategic financial insights.
- Present comprehensive financial reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Establish and track project budgets to ensure cost efficiency throughout project lifecycles.
- Collaborate closely with project managers to monitor expenses, forecasts, and resource allocation.
- Ensure full compliance with taxation, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements.
- Identify potential financial risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate smooth audits and compliance.
- Manage working capital to maintain adequate liquidity for ongoing projects.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury functions to ensure operational efficiency.
- Develop and enforce financial policies, internal controls, and process improvements to strengthen financial governance.

Required Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, CFA, MBA in Finance, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in managerial roles.
- Strong technical proficiency in financial systems, financial modeling, and data analytics.
- Based in Lahore or willing to relocate.
