Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial activities including the maintenance of accounts, material management, and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Manage cash flow effectively and control costs and inventory throughout the hotel.
- Prepare the hotel budget by gathering inputs from all departments and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Regularly monitor cost and profit performance across departments, recommending corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure adequate insurance coverage for hotel property and assets.
- Continuously track key performance indicators for the finance department and implement necessary measures to improve outcomes.
- Enforce compliance with company and hotel policies among department employees.
- Handle any legal matters related to accounts and finance.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure the safety, security, and protection of all movable assets and property.
- Maintain and safeguard all unit licenses, ensuring timely renewals by guiding respective departmental heads in accordance with organizational policies.
- Provide personal coaching to executives to enhance their financial management skills.
- Develop career plans and succession strategies for subordinates to support their growth within the organization.
- Utilize the company’s appraisal system to review the performance of direct reports and identify their development needs.
- Make decisions regarding hiring, promotions, disciplinary actions, and performance-related pay for team members.
- Offer counseling to subordinates on work-related issues to maintain a supportive work environment.

Required Qualifications
- Overall professional experience ranging from 15 to 20 years.
- Relevant experience in finance and accounting within the hospitality sector between 5 to 10 years.
- Academic qualifications such as ACCA, ACMA, Bachelor’s degree in Business or Commerce, CA Finalist, MBA in Finance, or MCOM.
