Giant Group is seeking a dedicated Financial Reporting and Governance Analyst to join our expanding team based in Lahore. This permanent role offers a competitive salary of up to PKR 200,000 per month, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial management and governance of the organization by collaborating closely with Finance Managers to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting. Your efforts will focus on enhancing financial reporting processes, automating key tasks, and supporting compliance with UK tax regulations, including VAT and PAYE.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reporting packs and provide supporting analysis.
- Conduct revenue, cost, overhead, and profitability analysis across various Group entities.
- Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses as required.
- Improve the quality, consistency, and presentation of financial reports across the Group.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of relevant UK VAT, PAYE, and other tax requirements affecting the Group.
- Collect and organize documentation needed for responses to HMRC queries and reviews.
- Ensure that all reporting and compliance documentation is complete, well-organized, and readily accessible for review.
- Maintain documentation detailing how key finance and tax processes operate within the Group.
- Assist the Finance team with UK tax compliance matters, including VAT, PAYE, and other relevant taxes.
- Prepare monthly governance and compliance packs for review by the Finance Manager.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in finance or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a finance environment, with a strong background in financial accounting procedures and reconciliations.
- Proven ability to produce accounts from ledgers in accordance with financial accounting standards.
- Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
- Working knowledge of UK VAT and PAYE requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends or unusual movements.
