Fireman - Contract (Multan)

We are seeking a dedicated Fireman on a contract basis to join our team in Multan. Reporting directly to the Supervisor, the successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring fire safety and emergency preparedness within the workplace. This position requires a proactive individual who can respond swiftly to fire alarms and emergencies, operate firefighting equipment efficiently, and assist in maintaining a safe environment for all personnel.

Key Responsibilities

- Respond promptly to fire alarms, emergencies, and fire-related incidents to minimize risk and damage.
- Operate fire extinguishers, fire hoses, hydrants, pumps, and other firefighting equipment with competence.
- Conduct regular inspections of firefighting equipment and report any defects or malfunctions immediately.
- Assist in fire prevention initiatives, emergency response activities, and evacuation procedures.
- Support and participate in fire drills and emergency preparedness exercises to ensure readiness.
- Monitor work areas continuously for potential fire hazards and enforce compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in the rescue and evacuation of personnel during emergency situations.
- Maintain firefighting equipment to ensure it is always in good working condition and readily accessible.
- Adhere strictly to all company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, fire safety protocols, and emergency response guidelines.
- Keep accurate records of inspections, drills, and incidents for reporting and compliance purposes.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum education of Matriculation or Intermediate level is preferred.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience as a Fireman or Fire Safety Worker, preferably in industrial or commercial environments.
- Good knowledge of firefighting techniques and emergency response procedures.
- Ability to operate firefighting equipment effectively and safely.
- Physically fit and capable of handling the demands of emergency situations and shift work.
- Strong communication skills, teamwork orientation, and situational awareness.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and discipline in the workplace.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Certification or training in firefighting or related safety fields will be considered an advantage.
