We are looking for competent and motivated individual to join our team in Karachi for the following position:

  • Fireman / Firefighter

Gender: Male Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to fire alarms and emergencies; deploy suitable extinguishers, hoses and nozzles, and support the Emergency Response Team (ERT) within assigned training and authorization.

  • Inspect firefighting equipment and PPE, including hoses, couplings, extinguishers, helmets, protective clothing and SCBA where provided and assigned.

  • Conduct fire safety patrols; identify blocked exits, obstructed hydrants, combustible waste, unsafe flammable-material storage and potential ignition sources.

  • Perform designated fire watch during hot work, monitor hazards continuously, maintain required post-work watch and promptly raise concerns.

  • Assist with evacuation, casualty assistance, rescue support, drills, hose deployment, extinguisher exercises and fire safety awareness activities.

  • Monitor permitted activities, ensure fire safety precautions are in place, maintain fire watch during hot work, and promptly report unsafe conditions to authorized personnel.

  • Support authorized hydrant checks, scheduled flushing and system tests; report defects and help restore equipment readiness after use or drills.

  • Maintain inspection checklists, fire watch records, equipment-use reports and shift handover information.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Minimum Matriculation, Fire & Safety certification or equivalent technical qualification preferred.

  • 2–3 years of relevant firefighting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Firefighter, fire warden, first-aid, SCBA or rescue training is an advantage.

  • Basic knowledge of fire extinguishers, hoses, hydrants, fire classes, evacuation and hot-work fire watch.

  • Physically fit and medically suitable for assigned duties, including PPE and breathing apparatus use where required.
