Fit-Out Foreman

Smart Staff International is looking for an experienced Fit-Out Foreman for a full-time position based in Iraq within the construction and fit-out industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily site activities, managing fit-out teams, and coordinating with various trades to ensure that all work is executed according to approved drawings, quality standards, and project timelines. This role requires hands-on leadership to oversee civil works, carpentry, MEP coordination, and finishing tasks, ensuring smooth progress and adherence to safety regulations on site.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily interior fit-out activities at the project site.
- Manage site workers, carpenters, technicians, and subcontractors effectively.
- Oversee civil works, carpentry, MEP coordination, and finishing activities to maintain quality standards.
- Ensure all work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Monitor work progress and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Coordinate closely with engineers, site supervisors, and other project teams to maintain workflow.
- Enforce site safety procedures and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Identify and report site issues, delays, or technical concerns promptly to the project management team.
- Maintain proper coordination between different trades to prevent work delays and conflicts.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Fit-Out Foreman in construction or interior fit-out projects.
- Strong knowledge of interior fit-out works, including civil works, carpentry, MEP coordination, and finishing.
- Ability to supervise site teams and manage daily work activities efficiently.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and project specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict project deadlines.
- Valid passport is mandatory for this international assignment.
