Fleet & Logistics Workshop Store Supervisor

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Workshop Store Supervisor to manage the inventory of our heavy transport workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and issuance of spare parts for heavy trucks and trailers, lubricants, and workshop tools. This role requires maintaining accurate digital records and ensuring optimal stock levels to reduce fleet downtime and support smooth maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management: Maintain precise records of all incoming and outgoing spare parts, assemblies, and workshop tools related to heavy transport vehicles.

Stock Control: Perform regular physical stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies with the digital inventory system to ensure accuracy.

Supervision: Lead and supervise store assistants while working closely with the fleet maintenance and procurement teams to coordinate inventory needs.

System Data Entry: Accurately log all transactions, generate stock reports, and raise purchase requisitions using ERP software or MS Excel.

Safety & Organization: Ensure the workshop store remains clean, well-organized, and compliant with safety standards, including proper storage of hazardous materials.

Required Qualifications

Education: Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant technical diploma.

Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience as a store supervisor or senior storekeeper within a heavy transport, logistics, or fleet workshop environment.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of heavy vehicle mechanical components, trailer spare parts, lubricants, and workshop tools.

IT Skills: Proficient in MS Excel and experienced with inventory management software or ERP systems.
