We are seeking a dedicated Floor Supervisor with 3 to 5 years of experience, preferably within a hospital or diagnostic centre setting, to oversee daily operations on the assigned floor. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient coordination among staff and departments, maintain high standards of patient care, and uphold hospital policies. This role is based in Islamabad and offers a monthly salary ranging from PKR 50,000 to 60,000. The position requires hands-on supervision and active problem-solving to support smooth service delivery in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all day-to-day activities on the assigned floor to ensure operational efficiency.
- Coordinate effectively between staff members and relevant departments to maintain seamless workflow.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, performance, and discipline to uphold professional standards.
- Ensure proper patient flow and timely delivery of services, addressing concerns promptly.
- Handle routine patient and staff issues, escalating to management when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper maintenance of the floor environment.
- Oversee the availability of supplies, equipment, and other necessary resources.
- Enforce adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and service standards among staff.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, technicians, receptionists, and support personnel to facilitate smooth operations.
- Prepare and maintain daily operational reports and records accurately.
- Identify and resolve operational challenges to minimize delays and disruptions.
- Report any floor-related issues or concerns to management in a timely manner.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support overall hospital functioning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospital Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience, with at least 3 years in a hospital environment.
- Strong skills in team supervision and coordination.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to manage patient and staff interactions professionally.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting tools.
- Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
