Flutter Developer - Regiment Staffing

Our client, Regiment Staffing, is seeking a Mid-Level Flutter and Full-Stack Developer based in Lahore to manage and enhance an existing mobile application. The role involves taking full ownership of the Flutter codebase, maintaining the backend infrastructure on Firebase, integrating payment systems, and developing a web-based Admin Panel to support application management. This position requires a developer who can work on both mobile and backend components, ensuring seamless performance, security, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Take ownership of the existing Flutter codebase by debugging issues, optimizing performance, and implementing new features to improve the application.
- Develop and maintain Firebase Authentication and Firestore, including data modeling, security rules, indexes, and transaction management.
- Build and maintain backend services using TypeScript/Node.js, leveraging Firebase Cloud Functions or Cloud Run for serverless execution.
- Integrate Stripe payment solutions, handling PaymentIntents, webhooks, refunds, idempotency, and duplicate-request prevention.
- Implement Stripe subscriptions and Stripe Connect payouts as needed to support various payment workflows.
- Design and develop reliable appointment scheduling and booking workflows, addressing challenges such as concurrent booking prevention and timezone management.
- Create and maintain a web-based Admin Panel to manage users, appointments, payments, subscriptions, content, settings, and other critical application data.
- Implement admin authentication with role-based access control and permissions to ensure secure and appropriate access.
- Provide comprehensive admin dashboards featuring filters, search capabilities, reports, and management tools to facilitate efficient administration.
- Prepare and maintain production builds and releases for both Android and iOS platforms.
- Write automated tests covering critical mobile, backend, payment, and booking functionalities to ensure software quality.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation and facilitate proper project handover when necessary.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Flutter/Dart development.
- Strong expertise in Firebase Authentication and Firestore, including data modeling, security rules, indexes, and transaction handling.
- Proficient in TypeScript and Node.js with hands-on experience in Cloud Functions and/or Cloud Run.
- Practical experience integrating Stripe APIs and webhooks, with a solid understanding of payment concepts such as idempotency, transactions, authentication, authorization, and API security.
- Experience developing web-based Admin Panels using modern web frameworks like React.js, Next.js, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with role-based admin systems and dashboard development.
- Experience with Android and iOS app deployment processes, including app-store releases.
- Knowledge of automated testing practices and proficiency with Git/GitHub workflows.
