Flutter Engineer (Mobile App Development)

Codefied is seeking a skilled and passionate Flutter Engineer to join our software development team on-site in Karachi, Pakistan. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality cross-platform mobile applications for both Android and iOS using Flutter and Dart. This role involves translating UI/UX designs into responsive and user-friendly apps, integrating REST APIs and third-party services, optimizing app performance, and collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and backend developers. Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
- Build responsive, intuitive, and pixel-perfect user interfaces based on UI/UX designs.
- Develop and maintain applications for Android and iOS platforms.
- Integrate REST APIs, backend services, Firebase, and third-party libraries.
- Implement and maintain state management solutions such as Bloc, Riverpod, Provider, or equivalent technologies.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-structured code.
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, stability, and memory usage.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and technical issues.
- Conduct unit, widget, and integration testing to ensure application quality.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, QA engineers, and product managers.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and development planning.
- Manage application releases, including building, testing, and publishing apps to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
- Maintain technical documentation and adhere to software development best practices.

Required Qualifications

- Strong practical knowledge of Flutter and Dart.
- Experience developing mobile applications for Android and iOS.
- Good understanding of responsive UI development and mobile application design principles.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and handling JSON data.
- Familiarity with state management solutions such as Bloc, Riverpod, Provider, or GetX.
- Working knowledge of Firebase services and third-party integrations.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming, error handling, and application lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Ability to debug issues, optimize performance, and write maintainable code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a development team.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience publishing and maintaining applications on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
- Knowledge of clean architecture, MVVM, or other scalable application architecture patterns.
- Experience with push notifications, authentication, payment gateways, and real-time features.
- Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and mobile deployment workflows.
- Understanding of mobile application security and performance optimization.
- A portfolio of completed Flutter projects or published mobile applications.
