Flutter Mobile Developer

We are seeking a skilled Flutter developer with 2–3 years of professional experience to join our team full-time. In this role, you will be responsible for building and shipping consumer mobile products on both iOS and Android platforms. You will work on production Flutter applications, owning features end-to-end—from UI design and API integration to testing and release—while adhering to solid architectural principles and team standards. A key aspect of this position is leveraging AI-driven development tools daily to accelerate coding and debugging without compromising code quality or architectural integrity.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain Flutter applications for iOS and Android devices.
- Implement product features covering the full mobile app stack, including UI, state management, networking, and local storage.
- Follow clean, scalable architecture with clear separation of presentation, domain, and data layers.
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party SDKs such as authentication, payments, analytics, and push notifications.
- Utilize AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) as part of the development workflow for coding, debugging, refactoring, testing, and documentation.
- Critically review, validate, and harden AI-generated code before merging.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to clarify specifications, UX details, and edge cases.
- Write unit, widget, and state management tests; contribute to automation efforts where applicable.
- Debug issues, optimize app performance, and assist with app store submission and release readiness.
- Continuously improve shared components, coding patterns, and documentation as the product portfolio expands.
- Take ownership of assigned features from requirement gathering through implementation, testing, and final delivery.
- Communicate progress, risks, and blockers proactively to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain and improve codebase quality, leaving it clearer and more consistent for the team.

Required Qualifications

- 2–3 years of professional experience developing and shipping real Flutter and Dart applications.
- Strong UI development skills, including layouts, theming, navigation, forms, and delivering polished mobile user experiences.
- Proficiency with state management solutions, preferably BLoC/Cubit, or alternatively Riverpod/Provider with willingness to align with team standards.
- Experience with clean architecture and layered app structures.
- Skilled in REST API integration, including handling authentication tokens and error management.
- Familiarity with dependency injection and routing within Flutter apps.
- Solid Git workflow knowledge and ability to work effectively within an existing codebase.
- Ability to build, ship, and debug applications on both iOS and Android platforms.
- Demonstrated experience working in an AI-driven development environment, including writing clear prompts and critically evaluating AI-generated code.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience shipping multiple apps or working in multi-product or white-label environments.
- Knowledge of payments integration (e.g., Stripe) and social/auth SDKs such as Firebase, Google, or Apple.
- Familiarity with secure storage, deep linking, push notifications, and app localization.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (unit, widget, integration) and end-to-end testing tools.
- Basic understanding of native tooling such as Gradle flavors, Xcode schemes, CocoaPods, and Firebase configuration.
- Background in consumer apps including marketplaces, e-commerce, services, or SaaS products.
- Experience combining AI tools with agentic workflows, code review processes, or maintaining team standards for consistent AI output.
- Strong soft skills including curiosity, adaptability, clear communication, ownership mentality, preference for maintainable code, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and high judgment when using AI tools to balance speed with correctness and security.

Success in this role will be demonstrated by:

- Becoming productive in the codebase within the first month, shipping small features with tests and code reviews while effectively using AI tools.
- Independently owning medium-sized features end-to-end within the first quarter and contributing to shared mobile foundations.
- Continuously helping scale mobile delivery as the product lineup grows.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is required. Candidates with portfolios, published apps on the App Store or Play Store, or GitHub repositories showcasing shipped Flutter projects are preferred.
