FMCG & Brand Partnerships

Fresh Nest is seeking an experienced Category Manager with a strong background in the FMCG sector, retail chains, supermarkets, or hypermarkets. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working closely with FMCG brands, distributors, and suppliers, demonstrating expertise in brand negotiations, commercial deals, and supplier management. This role is based in Karachi and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing company focused on expanding its brand partnerships and category management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead brand negotiations and manage commercial deals to maximize profitability and market presence.
- Oversee product listings and facilitate supplier onboarding to ensure a diverse and competitive product range.
- Manage discounts, margins, promotional schemes, and rebates to optimize sales and maintain healthy supplier relationships.
- Maintain strong vendor and distributor relationships, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
- Plan and execute category strategies, including procurement and inventory management.
- Coordinate in-store promotions and brand activations to drive customer engagement and sales growth.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and strategic partnerships to expand the company’s market footprint.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in a supermarket, hypermarket, retail chain, or FMCG environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with FMCG brands, distributors, and suppliers.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing commercial agreements.
- Knowledge of discount structures, margins, promotional schemes, and rebate management.
- Excellent vendor and distributor relationship management skills.
- Experience in category planning, procurement, and retail marketing activities.
- Ability to develop and implement in-store promotions and brand activations.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
