We are seeking a talented Forward Deployed Engineer with strong expertise in Python software engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and production deployment. This role involves developing, integrating, and deploying AI-powered applications that solve real-world business problems. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into scalable, reliable, and production-ready technical solutions. This is a hands-on engineering position requiring collaboration across teams and a focus on delivering impactful AI-driven products.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using Python.
- Build and integrate AI-powered applications, including Large Language Model (LLM)-based solutions and intelligent automation workflows.
- Develop AI agents and agentic workflows to automate business processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and integrate LLMs into existing systems.
- Deploy, manage, and maintain applications in production environments.
- Work extensively with cloud platforms, particularly AWS services such as S3, OpenSearch, and DynamoDB.
- Utilize containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, alongside CI/CD pipelines, for deployment and management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve deployed solutions.
- Ensure code quality, scalability, security, and maintainability across all applications.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and backend application development.
- Hands-on experience developing AI-powered applications and integrating Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience with AI agents, agentic workflows, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Proven track record deploying and maintaining applications in production environments.
- Working knowledge of AWS services, preferably including S3, OpenSearch, and DynamoDB.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as GitHub Actions or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in financial services, fintech, investment management, or capital markets.
- Exposure to Model Context Protocol (MCP), Claude Code, and agentic coding tools.
- Familiarity with financial documents, market data, SEC filings, and enterprise data sources.
- Experience delivering end-to-end AI solutions, from requirements gathering through to production deployment.
