Key Responsibilities
Forward Deployed Engineers at Programmatic collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to design, build, and deploy AI-driven and software solutions directly in production environments. Daily tasks include developing and maintaining back-end services, integrating data and cloud components, troubleshooting technical issues, and optimizing system performance to align with business needs. The role requires active collaboration with product managers, data scientists, and DevOps teams, participation in code reviews, and ensuring implementations are secure, scalable, and of high quality. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Karachi Division, involving regular interaction with stakeholders to refine requirements, deliver new features, and support deployments.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should have a strong foundation in Computer Science, including a solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles. Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, C#, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript is essential. Experience in back-end web development, including working with APIs, microservices, databases, and performance optimization, is required. A thorough grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their application in production systems is necessary. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, container technologies, and CI/CD pipelines is highly beneficial. The ability to work on-site in Karachi Division, collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is critical. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience—is expected.
