Wise, a global technology company dedicated to revolutionizing the way money moves and is managed worldwide, is seeking an ambitious and analytical FP&A professional to join its Finance Business Partnering team in Hyderabad. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to Wise’s rapid growth by supporting financial planning, budgeting, and analysis that drive data-informed decisions across the business. You will work closely with various departments to help them understand their cost structures, manage budgets effectively, and optimize operational efficiency, playing a key role in shaping the company’s financial future.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Finance Business Partnering by helping departments understand their cost base, manage budgets, and improve efficiency.
- Lead budgeting and re-forecasting processes, creating accurate financial models and forecasts for operating expenses (OPEX) and key business growth drivers.
- Conduct variance analysis comparing actuals against forecasts to identify risks, opportunities, and trends, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Enhance existing financial models and business intelligence dashboards to deliver deeper, actionable commercial insights to business leaders.
- Generate meaningful insights through data-backed financial analysis, presenting findings with clear and concise narratives.

Required Qualifications
- 2 to 4+ years of relevant experience in finance, particularly in financial planning and analysis.
- Proven expertise in building, maintaining, and auditing complex financial models using Excel or Google Sheets, with strong skills in variance analysis and budgeting.
- Ability to build effective interteam relationships and communicate complex financial data clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet modeling and experience extracting and analyzing data, along with familiarity working with modern BI tools.
- Solid understanding of expense classification (fixed vs. variable, vendor vs. headcount) and general financial statements.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Professional accounting or finance qualification is a plus.
- Experience in FinTech, Tech SaaS, or high-growth international businesses will be advantageous.
- Familiarity with planning and BI tools such as Anaplan, Workday, or Lightdash is desirable.
