Fluxx Digital, a full-service digital agency specializing in digital marketing, web development, design, SEO, content, and automation, is seeking a dedicated Freelancer.com Bidder & Project Manager for a full-time, on-site position based in Karachi. The role involves managing and expanding an existing Freelancer.com profile currently generating around $500 per month, with a clear focus on increasing revenue. This position goes beyond bidding; it requires end-to-end project management, including identifying opportunities, submitting tailored proposals, client communication, project closure, delivery coordination, and managing freelancers when additional expertise is needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow the Freelancer.com profile by identifying high-quality projects worth bidding on.
- Write personalized and persuasive proposals tailored to client requirements.
- Communicate effectively with international prospects to convert leads into paid projects.
- Follow up with potential clients and negotiate project scope, pricing, timelines, and deliverables.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of active opportunities to ensure consistent workflow.
- Oversee projects post-award to guarantee successful and timely delivery.
- Assess resource needs for each project and source, hire, and coordinate freelancers as necessary.
- Maintain strong and continuous client communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work towards securing positive reviews, repeat business, and fostering long-term client relationships.
- Track bidding activities, responses, conversion rates, project values, and monthly revenue.
- Continuously refine bidding and sales strategies based on performance data.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience with Freelancer.com, Upwork, or similar freelance marketplaces is highly preferred.
- Background in bidding, business development, sales, or client acquisition.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Excellent proposal writing and client communication abilities.
- Ability to comprehend client needs and recommend suitable digital solutions.
- Basic knowledge of web development, WordPress, Shopify, digital marketing, SEO, graphic design, video editing, and related digital services.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Capability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Experience in project management or freelancer/team management is a significant advantage.
- Comfortable working in a target-driven, performance-focused environment.
- Demonstrated ownership mentality with a proactive approach to growing the Freelancer.com profile rather than merely submitting bids.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Candidates who successfully meet performance targets during the initial probation period will benefit from a structured compensation plan and growth opportunities. The first two months include a performance-based probation with a salary of PKR 60,000 and revenue targets of $1,000 in month one and $2,000 in month two. Upon successful completion, the base salary increases to PKR 70,000 per month, along with a 5% commission on qualifying sales and a monthly revenue target of $3,000 or more. Further compensation and increased responsibilities will be offered based on consistent performance.
