Vision71 Technologies is seeking a freelance visual designer to transform provided content and business ideas into clear, distinctive, and professional visuals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong design judgment through thoughtful concepts, confident typography, balanced layouts, and the ability to visually communicate messages effectively. Emphasis is placed on the quality of your portfolio and the rationale behind your work rather than your preferred software tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Work remotely on a freelance contract basis, starting with a paid one-month trial. The scope, deliverables, fees, deadlines, and revision terms will be agreed upon before work begins.
- Create approximately 2–3 social media posts per month based on content, objectives, and direction supplied by Vision71.
- Develop visual concepts and produce polished designs that align with the business goals.
- Occasionally design additional materials such as brochures, carousels, presentation graphics, and perform short video editing.
- Manage deliverables within the agreed scope; any additional work or revisions beyond this will be quoted and approved separately.
- Collaborate on potential continuation of the contract beyond the trial period, subject to mutual agreement.
Required Qualifications
- Strong skills in layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to make complex business and technology content engaging and easy to understand through design.
- Original thinking with sound judgment to select effective visual approaches.
- Proficiency in Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent professional design workflows.
- Clear and professional communication skills, reliability in delivery, and a constructive attitude toward feedback.
- Ability to provide editable source files and ensure an organized handover of work.
- Familiarity with short video editing is desirable; please include relevant examples if available.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- Use of AI tools in the design process is welcomed, provided your portfolio clearly demonstrates your creative input beyond generated images or lightly modified templates.
- Ability to articulate design decisions and refine work precisely based on feedback is essential.
- Applicants should submit a portfolio link with 3–5 relevant examples, ideally including social media designs and at least one brochure, carousel, or multi-page piece.
- Include a brief explanation of your role in the selected examples, specifying any use of templates or AI tools.
- Provide one short example illustrating how you translated a written brief into an effective design.
- Share your preferred tools, availability, typical turnaround times, and indicative pricing for producing 2–3 posts during the trial period.
- Clearly outline what your proposed fee covers, including revisions and source files.
- If applicable, include a short video editing sample.
- Only submit work you have permission to share; redacted examples are acceptable.
This role focuses exclusively on design. Social media account management, publishing, and copywriting are outside the scope of this engagement.
