Front-End Developer Intern

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic unpaid trainee to join our remote team for a three-month period. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mobile app development using React Native. The trainee will work Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, collaborating on projects that enhance technical skills and industry knowledge. This position is ideal for candidates who have a foundational understanding of programming and are eager to develop their expertise in a practical environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of iOS and Android applications using React Native.
- Apply object-oriented programming principles to write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
- Collaborate with the team to integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into mobile applications.
- Participate in problem-solving sessions and contribute to logic building and critical thinking exercises.
- Support database management tasks involving SQL and Firebase.
- Engage in code reviews and learn best practices for mobile app development.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Native frameworks.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and data structures.
- Familiarity with SQL databases and Firebase for backend support.
- Proficiency in logic building, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience developing one or more iOS or Android applications using React Native.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Benefits
- Experience with RESTful API and third-party API integration is highly advantageous.
- Completion of a final year project using React Native will be considered a strong plus.
