We are seeking a skilled Frontend 3D Engineer to join our team and contribute to building interactive, high-performance 3D web experiences. The role focuses on real-time visualization and advanced mesh manipulation, delivering smooth and responsive 3D applications primarily in the dental visualization domain. You will work closely with cutting-edge technologies to create engaging and optimized browser-based 3D experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain interactive 3D mesh manipulation features using Three.js, React Three Fiber, and Drei.
- Implement real-time dental visualization logic with a strong emphasis on performance-aware rendering and browser optimization.
- Build smooth, responsive, and interactive 3D experiences that run efficiently in modern web browsers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate 3D components within Next.js 14 and React frameworks.
- Continuously optimize rendering pipelines and troubleshoot complex 3D visualization issues.
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React development.
- Hands-on experience with Three.js and React Three Fiber for 3D rendering.
- Solid understanding of 3D concepts including geometry, meshes, materials, cameras, lighting, and animations.
- Experience working with Next.js 14 and integrating 3D features into web applications.
- Ability to implement complex interactive 3D features directly in the browser environment.
- Deep knowledge of browser performance considerations and rendering optimization techniques.
- Proven debugging and problem-solving skills in 3D web applications.
- 3 to 4 years of professional software development experience, preferably with a focus on frontend and 3D technologies.
