Frontend Developer

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to join our team in Lahore for a full-time, onsite role working Sunday to Thursday. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building and maintaining frontend features across various platforms, including merchant web applications, POS systems, e-commerce storefronts, and payment interfaces. This position requires close collaboration with product, design, backend, and QA teams to deliver high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain frontend features for merchant web applications, POS applications, e-commerce storefronts, and payment/checkout interfaces.
- Develop web application pages using ASP.NET MVC Razor views, jQuery, and client-side templating frameworks.
- Enhance POS applications utilizing Angular and TypeScript to ensure robust performance and usability.
- Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive, and production-ready user interfaces.
- Implement and maintain UI components consistent with established design systems.
- Apply UI/UX best practices focusing on usability, visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, consistency, and accessibility.
- Identify and proactively raise usability, design, and interaction issues prior to implementation and release.
- Build responsive, cross-browser compatible interfaces optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Develop and maintain bilingual interfaces supporting Arabic (RTL) and English (LTR) layouts.
- Integrate REST APIs and collaborate closely with backend engineers to ensure seamless frontend/backend integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues, including browser compatibility, responsiveness, and API integration challenges before releases.
- Utilize browser DevTools and frontend debugging techniques to diagnose and fix issues efficiently.
- Create reusable frontend components, templates, and utilities to enhance development consistency and efficiency.
- Maintain comprehensive frontend documentation and contribute to coding standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications

- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in frontend development.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of responsive and cross-browser web development techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of UI/UX principles, including usability, visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, consistency, and accessibility.
- Experience working with jQuery, Bootstrap, npm packages, and browser DevTools.
- Hands-on experience with server-rendered views, preferably using ASP.NET MVC Razor.
- Familiarity with client-side templating frameworks or libraries such as Handlebars.
- Proven experience integrating REST APIs and collaborating with backend development teams.
- Demonstrated ability to build RTL interfaces, preferably Arabic, alongside LTR English interfaces.
- Experience converting Figma designs into accurate and consistent frontend implementations.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Git and modern frontend development workflows.
- Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional Agile or product development environment.
- Experience using AI-assisted developer tools, including large language models (LLMs), coding copilots, or similar productivity-enhancing technologies.
