Frontend Developer (React + Next.js)

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to take ownership of the user experience at STACKONN. In this role, you will develop fast, accessible, and polished interfaces using React and Next.js, collaborating closely with product managers and designers. The position follows a hybrid work model, requiring three days in-office in Lahore and two days remote.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop reusable UI components and feature flows using React and Next.js.
- Convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive user interfaces.
- Enhance application performance focusing on Core Web Vitals, loading states, and perceived speed.
- Implement robust state management and clean data fetching strategies.
- Deliver accessible UI features, including keyboard navigation, ARIA attributes, color contrast, and semantic HTML.
- Write frontend tests where impactful, including component tests and basic end-to-end tests for critical flows.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to establish clear and maintainable API contracts.
- Quickly identify, track, and fix UI bugs while preventing recurrence through improved coding patterns.
- Maintain a consistent design system and ensure the UI remains scalable as the product grows.
- Conduct code reviews to uphold high frontend standards, including linting, formatting, and coding conventions.

Required Qualifications
- 4 to 5+ years of experience building production-grade React applications.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and component architecture.
- Solid understanding of Next.js features such as routing, server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), caching, revalidation, and image optimization.
- Advanced CSS skills, preferably with Tailwind CSS or modern CSS techniques that work harmoniously with browsers.
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and managing edge cases like errors, retries, and partial data states.
- Good grasp of performance optimization and accessibility fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Git and pull request workflows.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with designers and product teams without confusion or ego.
- Based in Lahore or willing to work from Lahore under a hybrid schedule.
- A portfolio or examples of shipped products demonstrating the ability to deliver real, user-facing UI rather than just demo screens.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
