We are seeking a motivated Junior Frontend Developer with expertise in Next.js to join our team in Lahore, working on-site with a hybrid model. This role focuses on building and delivering high-converting marketing and service websites at a rapid pace using our custom Next.js boilerplate. The ideal candidate will have strong design instincts, a solid grasp of SEO fundamentals, and experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity without compromising code quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Rapidly assemble, customize, and launch marketing websites using the internal Next.js framework.
- Develop modern, responsive UI components with clear UX and strong visual hierarchy.
- Configure transactional email workflows using Resend, and implement performance monitoring and analytics.
- Apply technical SEO best practices, including semantic HTML, OpenGraph metadata, JSON-LD schema, sitemaps, and optimization for Core Web Vitals.
- Manage version control through GitHub and oversee automated deployments on Vercel.
- Utilize AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, Codex, and Copilot daily to scaffold pages, refactor components, and accelerate development cycles.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year professional experience in React and Next.js frontend development.
- Strong product sense with the ability to make effective UI/UX layout decisions without relying on pixel-perfect design specs.
- Solid understanding of Core Web Vitals, image optimization techniques, and page speed performance.
- Self-driven problem solver capable of independently delivering complete, launch-ready websites.
- Proficiency with Next.js features including App Router, Server and Client components, SSR, and SSG.
- Experience with UI and styling tools such as Radix UI primitives and Tailwind CSS or modern CSS methodologies.
- Familiarity with state management and data fetching libraries like TanStack (React Query), React hooks, and caching strategies including ISR and tag-based revalidation.
- Knowledge of email integration using Resend and monitoring tools like Sentry for error tracking and performance.
- Comfortable with Git, GitHub workflows, and deployment management on Vercel.
- Demonstrated daily use of AI-assisted coding tools to write, debug, and speed up development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with headless CMS platforms such as Sanity, Strapi, or Contentful.
- Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles.
- Exposure to programmatic SEO or automated landing page generation workflows.
