We are looking for a skilled and adaptable Full Stack Developer to take on a Team Lead role within a vibrant organization based in Karachi, Pakistan. The successful candidate will bring at least five years of comprehensive experience in full-stack development, combined with strong leadership capabilities and a history of delivering scalable, high-performance web applications. This position requires overseeing a team of developers, designing technical architectures, and ensuring consistent code quality across both front-end and back-end systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of developers, promoting best engineering practices and a collaborative work culture. Architect, develop, and maintain scalable applications using both front-end and back-end technologies. Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to convert business requirements into effective technical solutions. Design, build, and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices to enhance application functionality. Manage database design, optimization, indexing, and integration to ensure efficient data management. Oversee code reviews, automated testing, and deployment pipelines to maintain high code quality and smooth release cycles. Ensure application security, performance tuning, and scalability to support evolving business demands. Keep abreast of emerging technologies, including AI-driven development tools, and integrate relevant innovations into the development process. Utilize AI tools for code optimization, documentation, debugging, and rapid prototyping to boost productivity and innovation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. At least five years of professional experience in full-stack development. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage projects from start to finish. Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js. Expertise in back-end development using Node.js, Express.js, .NET Core, or Django. Solid knowledge of database technologies including MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server. Practical experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, along with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git/GitHub workflows, and Agile development methodologies. Familiarity with testing frameworks including Jest, Mocha, Cypress, and Selenium. Ability to design scalable and secure system architectures. Proficiency in AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Gemini, Claude, Sovereign AI, and other LLM-powered utilities) for code review, automation, and solution exploration.
Job Details
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Karachi, Pakistan. The salary range for this role is PKR 300,000 to PKR 370,000 per month.
