Full Stack Developer (PHP/Laravel, React.js & AI-Assisted Development) - TJ / 1940335

Our client, Zam Software Solutions, is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer based in Islamabad with expertise in PHP, Laravel, React.js, and AI-assisted development tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable web applications, CRM platforms, and API integrations by combining traditional development methods with AI-powered coding technologies such as Cursor AI, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and ChatGPT. This role focuses on delivering secure, efficient, and maintainable software solutions while optimizing performance and adhering to best practices in software architecture and development workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and API-driven platforms using PHP, Laravel, and React.js.
- Implement backend services including RESTful API development, business logic, and database schema design with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Utilize AI-powered coding tools to accelerate feature delivery and enhance development workflow efficiency.
- Create reusable, responsive, and user-friendly frontend components with React.js, following modern development patterns such as Hooks and state management.
- Review, validate, test, and optimize AI-generated code to ensure quality, maintainability, security, and performance standards.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services to extend application functionality according to business needs.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing codebases to improve software reliability and scalability.
- Optimize database queries, caching strategies, and application performance using Redis and advanced indexing techniques.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, UX/UI designers, and fellow developers to deliver seamless software solutions within project timelines.
- Follow version control best practices using Git, participate in code reviews, and maintain coding standards and documentation.
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to independently manage development tasks, ensure application security, and uphold software architecture best practices.
- Adopt AI-assisted coding methodologies (Vibe Coding) to boost productivity while maintaining full control over coding decisions.
- Continuously evaluate and implement modern development tools and techniques to keep software solutions innovative and competitive.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of two years of professional experience in full-stack development.
- Strong backend expertise in PHP and Laravel with a solid understanding of MVC architecture.
- Extensive frontend development experience using React.js and JavaScript.
- Practical knowledge of database management with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with caching systems such as Redis.
- Proven ability to integrate AI-powered coding tools effectively into daily development workflows.
- Demonstrated independence, problem-solving capabilities, and commitment to delivering production-ready code.
