Full Stack Developer

Comtanix, a rapidly growing BPO based in Bahria Town, Phase 8, Rawalpindi, is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with expertise in both PHP/Laravel and the MERN stack. This is a full-time, in-person position with night shift hours from 6 PM to 3 AM, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing modern web applications, working closely with development, design, and DevOps teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions. This role requires hands-on experience across frontend and backend environments, with a strong focus on building APIs and integrating third-party services.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP/Laravel and the MERN stack.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while troubleshooting and resolving application bugs and performance issues.
- Build backend systems and RESTful APIs with Laravel, utilizing features such as authentication, middleware, queues, and events.
- Develop responsive frontend applications using React.js, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimized performance.
- Manage MongoDB databases and design efficient data structures alongside MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
- Optimize database queries, indexes, and connections to enhance overall application performance.
- Design and implement secure RESTful APIs, integrating third-party services and ensuring robust authentication and authorization.
- Follow secure coding practices to identify and resolve security vulnerabilities across applications.
- Collaborate using Git workflows, participate in code reviews, and maintain technical documentation.
- Work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, designers, and project managers throughout development, testing, debugging, and deployment phases.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in full stack web development.
- Strong hands-on experience with PHP, Laravel, and the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience in developing RESTful APIs and working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB databases.
- Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, API security, and web application security best practices.
- Skilled in debugging, problem-solving, and basic DevOps practices related to application deployment.
- Familiarity with Git-based source code management tools such as GitHub or GitLab.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with TypeScript and Next.js frameworks.
- Knowledge of Redis, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and integrating payment gateways, CRM, or ERP systems.
- Experience working on large-scale or enterprise-level web applications.
- Understanding of microservices architecture is an advantage.

The monthly salary for this position ranges from PKR 100,000 to PKR 150,000. This role requires the candidate to work onsite at the Bahria Town, Phase 8 location in Rawalpindi.
