We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Engineer with experience in the payments domain to join our team in Saudi Arabia on an onsite basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining end-to-end applications using Java, Node.js, and React. This role requires a strong ability to work across both frontend and backend technologies, particularly in building applications that handle payment transactions or financial services. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience and a solid understanding of payment processing workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive web applications using React for the frontend and Java/Node.js for backend services.
- Create responsive, user-friendly interfaces leveraging React to enhance user experience.
- Design and implement scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices to support payment functionalities.
- Integrate payment gateways and third-party financial services to enable seamless transaction processing.
- Implement payment transaction flows, including validations and business logic to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between services.
- Manage application data using SQL databases and ensure data integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across frontend, backend, and integration layers.
- Ensure applications meet security, performance, and scalability standards.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, QA, DevOps, and other engineering groups.
- Participate actively in code reviews, testing processes, and maintain thorough technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
- Proficient in React with strong hands-on frontend development skills.
- Solid backend development experience using Java and/or Node.js.
- Proven experience working within the payments, fintech, banking, or financial services sectors.
- Good understanding of payment processing systems and transaction workflows.
- Experience in developing and integrating REST APIs.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database management.
- Familiarity with Git and modern software development best practices.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience working with payment gateways, digital wallets, or financial APIs.
- Knowledge of PCI-DSS standards and secure payment practices.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and containerized application deployment.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and its implementation.
