Full Stack Engineer

Onstak Inc. is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in both frontend and backend development. The ideal candidate will be proficient in building scalable, reliable, and well-tested web applications. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions while adhering to best practices in security, privacy, and software development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain features across the full application stack, including frontend UI components and backend API services.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested, and well-documented code following established architecture and coding standards.
- Participate actively in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions with the leadership team.
- Build and sustain automated test coverage for both frontend and backend components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Follow security and privacy best practices, ensuring proper handling and protection of sensitive data in line with compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in full-stack web application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frontend frameworks.
- Solid experience in Python-based backend API development.
- Proficiency with relational databases and ORM frameworks.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerized application environments.
- Experience implementing automated testing across frontend and backend applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, and remote work environment.

Working Hours:
The position requires availability Monday through Friday during core hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM US Pacific Time, unless otherwise agreed. Flexibility to work outside these hours, including public holidays and weekends, may be necessary based on project and business needs.
