Full Stack Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Own the design, development, and deployment of complex features across backend services and web applications.
- Build and maintain reliable, secure REST APIs and webhooks that enterprise customers integrate with, ensuring clear documentation.
- Lead technical scoping and execution of integrations, collaborating closely with Product, Customer Success, and engineering teams.
- Use data and customer feedback to continuously improve the Burq Dashboard, enabling smooth and efficient delivery operations.
- Take full ownership of production quality by monitoring systems, responding to incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and preventing recurrence.
- Elevate team standards through code reviews, technical design contributions, mentoring, and improving engineering, security, and design practices.
- Incorporate AI tools daily to accelerate development, testing, and debugging processes.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping and maintaining production systems.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript for backend development.
- Experience building web applications using React or similar modern frameworks.
- Solid background in designing and implementing REST APIs and microservices architectures.
- Comfortable working with both SQL and NoSQL databases and deploying applications on AWS.
- Skilled in integrating third-party systems and APIs, including managing webhooks, authentication, and graceful failure handling.
- Demonstrates a strong ownership mindset, taking ambiguous problems through to completion with accountability for outcomes.
- AI-native: actively uses AI tools such as Claude or Unblocked in daily workflows and quickly adopts new technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including customers.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in delivery, logistics, or marketplace platforms.
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Temporal or event-driven systems such as Kafka.
- Knowledge of enterprise integration and security requirements, including SSO, IP allow listing, and audit logging.
