Full Stack Software Engineer (MERN + React Native)

The Full Stack Software Engineer (MERN + React Native) will work remotely on a full-time basis, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web and mobile applications. This role involves implementing front-end interfaces using React and CSS, building back-end services and APIs with Node.js and Express, and integrating MongoDB for efficient data storage and retrieval. The engineer will collaborate closely with product, design, and data teams to translate requirements into clean, efficient code. Additional responsibilities include writing tests, conducting code reviews, optimizing performance across the stack, identifying technical improvements, contributing to architectural decisions, and ensuring adherence to best practices in security, reliability, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web and mobile applications using the MERN stack and React Native.
- Implement responsive and accessible front-end interfaces with React and CSS.
- Build robust back-end services and RESTful or GraphQL APIs using Node.js and Express.
- Integrate MongoDB for data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and data to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Write unit and integration tests, perform code reviews, and optimize application performance.
- Identify opportunities for technical improvements and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Ensure best practices in security, reliability, and documentation are followed throughout the development lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively within a remote, collaborative environment with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in full-stack software development with a track record of delivering production-ready applications.
- Proficiency in front-end development using JavaScript frameworks, particularly React, along with CSS for responsive UI design.
- Strong back-end development skills using Node.js, Express, and API design (RESTful or GraphQL).
- Hands-on experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) and React Native for mobile app development.
- Solid understanding of version control systems, especially Git, and familiarity with testing practices and modern CI/CD workflows.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote setting, demonstrating clear communication skills with diverse teams.
