Full-Stack Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails + React/Next.js)

We’re looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer who is comfortable working across both backend and frontend development. In this role, you’ll build and ship end-to-end features, from developing Rails APIs to creating responsive, typed React components.

You’ll contribute to healthcare software that supports clinical workflows, patient management, scheduling, billing, and integrations with external healthcare systems.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain features across Ruby on Rails and Next.js/React.
Build and improve clinical workflows, including encounter notes, lab results, medications, and vitals.
Develop patient registration, scheduling, charge capture, and billing workflows.
Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and data models.
Build accessible, responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
Integrate labs, pharmacies, e-prescribing systems, and payers through REST/JSON APIs.
Write reliable automated tests using RSpec and frontend component testing tools.
Participate in code reviews and help modernize a large, long-lived codebase.

🔹 Requirements:

3+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
Hands-on production experience with Ruby on Rails, ActiveRecord, and service objects.
Production experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
Strong understanding of PostgreSQL, database design, and query performance.
Experience designing and consuming REST/JSON APIs.
Familiarity with automated testing, Git, and pull-request-based workflows.
