Ignitro Innovative Solutions, a dynamic digital marketing agency based in Doha, Qatar, specializes in creating engaging social media content for restaurants, cafés, and food brands. We are currently seeking a full-time Video Editor to join our remote team. This role focuses on transforming raw footage into captivating short vertical reels that entice viewers and encourage orders. Since food is the primary subject, the ideal candidate must have a keen eye for making dishes look as delicious on screen as they are in reality.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit 9:16 vertical reels for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, following approved storyboards and shot lists.
- Perform precise colour grading to ensure food appears rich, natural, and appetizing without any artificial or oversaturated effects.
- Craft compelling hooks within the first two seconds of each reel and pace edits rhythmically to music using clean, intentional transitions.
- Design and synchronize sound elements including music, sound effects, smooth overlapping transitions, and balanced audio levels optimized for social media.
- Add on-screen text and titles in both English and Arabic, using copy provided by the team.
- Create reel covers and short cut-down versions from each edit for additional promotional use.
- Deliver projects on schedule, manage revision rounds efficiently, and maintain well-organized project files with proper naming conventions.
- Collaborate closely with the social media manager, designers, and shoot crew while staying updated on the latest reel formats and trends within the food content space.

Required Qualifications

- A minimum of 2 years of professional video editing experience, preferably within social media or agency environments.
- A strong portfolio showcasing food, restaurant, or product reels is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, and CapCut; knowledge of After Effects is an advantage.
- Demonstrated expertise in colour grading with clear before-and-after examples.
- Excellent sense of timing and music, with meticulous attention to detail on every frame.
- Proven reliability in meeting deadlines consistently without the need for follow-up.
- Good written English skills; Arabic language skills are a plus.
