Full-Time Video Editor

Ignitro Innovative Solutions, a dynamic digital marketing agency based in Doha, Qatar, specializes in creating engaging social media content for restaurants, cafés, and food brands. We are seeking a full-time Video Editor to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will transform raw footage into captivating short vertical reels designed to entice viewers and drive orders. Since food is our primary focus, the ability to make dishes look as delicious on screen as they are in reality is essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit 9:16 vertical reels for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook using raw footage, following approved storyboards and shot lists.
- Perform precise colour grading to ensure food appears rich, natural, and appetizing, avoiding any artificial or oversaturated effects.
- Craft engaging hooks within the first two seconds of each reel, pacing cuts to music with smooth, intentional transitions.
- Design sound elements including music, sound effects timed perfectly to frames, seamless overlapping transitions, and balanced audio levels optimized for social media.
- Add on-screen text and titles in both English and Arabic, using copy provided by the team.
- Create reel covers and short cut-down versions from each main edit.
- Deliver projects on schedule, manage revision rounds efficiently, and maintain well-organized, properly named project files.
- Collaborate closely with the social media manager, designers, and shooting crew while staying current with reel formats and trends within the food industry.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years professional video editing experience, preferably within social media or agency environments.
- A strong portfolio showcasing food, restaurant, or product reels is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, and CapCut; knowledge of After Effects is an advantage.
- Demonstrated expertise in colour grading, supported by before-and-after examples.
- Excellent sense of timing and music, with meticulous attention to detail on every frame.
- Proven track record of reliable delivery and meeting deadlines without supervision.
- Good written English skills; Arabic language ability is a plus.
