Functional Consultant

The primary role of the Business Liaison (BL) is to maintain continuous communication with customers throughout the implementation and support phases, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope. The BL collaborates closely with the Project Manager to guarantee the successful deployment of ERP systems. Additionally, the BL is responsible for implementing new system initiatives and providing day-to-day operational support for ERP systems across the country.

Key Responsibilities

- Utilize accounting knowledge to understand systems and processes, enabling effective training of customer teams.
- Quickly learn and adapt to the ERP system to support implementation and ongoing use.
- Identify and understand essential reporting requirements to meet customer needs.
- Determine critical go-live requirements and maintain clear communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proactively highlight and address problem areas that could impact tight go-live deadlines.
- Serve as a continuous point of support and training for customers following the ERP system go-live.

Required Qualifications

- Educational background in ACCA, ICMA, B.Com, BBA, or MBA.
- Proven experience as an ERP Functional Consultant or in a similar role.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time to attend client meetings and provide go-live support.
- Ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Karachi Shahra-E-Faisal before starting work is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- This is a full-time, in-person position offering a starting salary from Rs 70,000 per month.

Candidates should be prepared for some travel requirements to support clients during critical phases of ERP implementation and ongoing operations. The role demands strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both internal teams and external customers to ensure project success.
