TechTree is returning to Foundation Public School Hyderabad for its fourth engagement across two campuses, seeking a passionate educator to join the team. This role involves teaching both technical and creative skills to students in Grades 3–6. The ideal candidate will deliver lessons in block coding, robotics, circuits, and AI foundations, alongside a Design Studio curriculum that includes typography, color theory, branding, UI/UX, Canva, and Figma. The position is part-time, running from October 12, 2026, to April 30, 2027, with an opportunity to contribute beyond the classroom by engaging with local schools, universities, teachers, and startup communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach block coding, robotics, circuits, and AI foundations to students in Grades 3–6.
- Conduct Design Studio sessions covering typography, color, branding, UI/UX, Canva, and Figma.
- Deliver classes three days per week, ensuring an engaging and interactive learning environment.
- From the third week onward, dedicate two additional days per week to community engagement, building partnerships with Hyderabad’s educational institutions and startup ecosystem.
- Support the growth of TechTree’s presence in Hyderabad by fostering meaningful relationships with schools, universities, teachers, and startups.
- Collaborate with the TechTree team to continuously improve curriculum and teaching methods.
Required Qualifications
- Experience teaching STEM subjects, particularly coding, robotics, circuits, or AI, to primary school students (Grades 3–6).
- Strong skills in design education, including typography, color theory, branding, UI/UX principles, and proficiency with Canva and Figma.
- Ability to engage young learners with diverse teaching methods and adapt to different learning styles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students, parents, and community stakeholders.
- Commitment to part-time work from October 2026 through April 2027, with flexibility to engage in outreach activities.
