GEN AI Engineer

We are seeking a skilled GenAI Engineer to join our team onsite in DHA Phase 3, Lahore. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building and optimizing AI-driven systems while automating the entire software development lifecycle. This position involves transforming client requirements into structured workflows and enabling intelligent automation across development, quality assurance, and deployment processes. The working hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a competitive salary range of PKR 200,000 to 300,000.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead GenAI initiatives by organizing, testing, and enhancing AI-driven systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop evaluation frameworks to continuously assess and improve AI models and solutions.
- Conduct research and integrate cutting-edge open-source AI models to keep systems up to date.
- Create AI-powered automation tools that translate client requirements into epics, tasks, and workflows.
- Automate effort estimation, task breakdown, and intelligent task assignment across cross-functional teams.
- Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, agentic workflows, and prompt engineering solutions.
- Build efficient data pipelines and integration architectures to improve system performance and reduce latency.
- Develop and deploy production-grade AI solutions that meet business needs and scalability requirements.
- Work extensively with large language models (LLMs), vector databases, and implement hallucination detection mechanisms to ensure AI reliability.
- Integrate AI systems seamlessly with existing technology stacks, including Java backend, JavaScript MUI frontend, MongoDB, MySQL, and cloud deployment environments.
- Drive automation throughout the software development lifecycle, covering development, QA, staging, and deployment phases.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Data Sciences or a related field from a reputable university.
- 4 to 6+ years of professional experience, including 2 to 3+ years specifically in AI and machine learning domains.
- Strong expertise in data processing, structuring, and visualization techniques.
- Proven experience in predictive modeling and designing AI systems.
- Proficiency in Python programming; knowledge of .NET is considered an advantage.
- Solid SQL skills with hands-on experience in both relational and NoSQL databases.
- Practical experience working with large language models (LLMs), RAG frameworks, and prompt engineering methodologies.
- Familiarity with vector databases and the ability to debug complex, non-deterministic AI systems.
- Experience implementing AI evaluation frameworks and hallucination detection to improve model accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver AI solutions that are production-ready and scalable.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mentality, and excellent communication abilities.
