General Manager Terminal Operations

The General Manager Terminal Operations will play a pivotal role in overseeing all terminal activities to ensure efficient and timely flight departures. Reporting directly to the Director Terminal Operations, this position demands strong leadership to manage staff, maintain operational standards, and uphold safety and customer service excellence. The role requires close collaboration with airport authorities and internal teams to guarantee compliance with airline policies and regulatory requirements, while driving continuous performance improvements across all stations.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee terminal operations to ensure smooth and timely flight departures without discrepancies.
- Manage the staff shortlisting process for final interviews in coordination with the Director Terminal Operations, adhering to approved HR Board allocations.
- Maintain and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across all stations to track operational efficiency.
- Prepare and submit monthly station performance reports to the Director Terminal Operations.
- Ensure full compliance with Airblue Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and prevent any violations of Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs).
- Take proactive measures during irregular operations to maintain adherence to airline policies.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless experience for all guests.
- Coordinate with Airport Operations Managers to respond to guest feedback emails promptly and effectively.
- Foster a collaborative and team-oriented work environment among terminal staff.
- Maintain close coordination with all relevant airport stakeholders, including Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA), and other regulatory and security agencies.
- Ensure all PAA/PCAA inspections are conducted smoothly, with zero discrepancies or audit observations.
- Regularly review station-wise performance and discuss observations and improvement plans with the Director Terminal Operations.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in a similar terminal operations management role.
- Minimum age requirement: 35 years.
