General Physician

Awadh General Hospital, located in Landhi, Karachi, is looking to hire a dedicated and experienced General Physician to join its medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare services to patients, managing common medical conditions, and providing comprehensive patient care. This role requires strong clinical skills, a professional attitude, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes in a dynamic hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Examine, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with common medical conditions.
- Provide consultations and treatment for ailments such as fever, infections, flu, hypertension, diabetes, and other general medical issues.
- Assess patients’ medical histories and conduct thorough physical examinations.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and recommend necessary laboratory investigations.
- Manage chronic diseases and monitor patient progress over time.
- Identify serious or complex medical conditions and refer patients to relevant specialists as needed.
- Offer preventive healthcare advice, including dietary guidance and lifestyle counseling.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and follow-up plans.
- Collaborate effectively with other hospital departments to ensure coordinated patient care.

Required Qualifications
- MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid registration with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to counsel patients effectively.
- Professional demeanor with a strong commitment to patient care.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Relevant clinical experience in General Medicine is preferred.
- Experience in managing both acute and chronic medical conditions will be an advantage.
- The position offers a negotiable salary package.
